Consent and information on data processing
The data supplied by the user are registered on electronic databases belonging to Pitti Immagine s.r.l., head office Via Faenza 111, Florence, which is also responsible for handling the data. Data supplied means all information given when registering for the service and any subsequent changes and/or additions made by the user. The data is handled in order to: - supply the required services; - supply any services that Pitti Immagine s.r.l. considers to be of interest to the user; - verify the quality of the services provided; - discover the perpetrators of any illicit actions only in the event of a specific request and on behalf of the competent authorities. The data is divided into two categories: compulsory and optional, as marked on the forms. Compulsory data refers to information which is strictly necessary in order to supply the services and for reasons of safety. Optional data is useful for improving services and communication. In compliance with art. 13 of Law no. 675 dated 31st December 1996, the user shall have direct access at all times, via the Web, to his own personal information, as held by Pitti Immagine s.r.l., through the use of personal access codes (user name and password); the user may, under his own full responsibility, integrate, modify or cancel this information, at any time, without mediation. Using the same interface, the user can manage the reception, recurrence and content of the information supplied by Pitti Immagine s.r.l.. Upon registration the user should give his consent to the handling of personal information. If such consent is not given it will not be possible to use the service, although the user can, at any time, decide on the data he will continue to make available to Pitti Immagine s.r.l. and the information he wishes to receive. The user shall be considered to have withdrawn from the service if he renders any indispensable data inaccessible (compulsory data). Pitti Immagine s.r.l. is very much in favor of maintaining the anonymity of those wishing to use the Network for legitimate purposes. It is, however, decidedly against anyone wishing to cover, by means of the apparent anonymity of the Network, any actions which are against laws, rules or regulations, and warns that it is able to identify the client's IP address through the electronic registers in order to satisfy any requests received from the competent authorities. Personal information can be passed on to third parties following the informed consent of the user. The use of the said information shall be limited to Pitti Immagine s.r.l. for announcements regarding this contract or for sending a weekly information and promotional newsletter about the latest features and opportunities on the Internet, as well as telecommunications sector proposals in general. The user will be able to directly manage and personalize the reception and content of this newsletter on the Web. Any advertising messages inserted in the free services in question can also be managed through the profiling/personalization of the announcements. In full awareness of the provisions set down in art. 13 (Rights of the party concerned), law n. 675 dated 31st December 1996, consenting to the handling of the aforementioned information.
